The Constitution
All foundation trusts are required to have a constitution, one of the most important documents within any foundation trust. It acts as the NCA's governing document and sets out the fundamental principles and processes by which we're governed.
Governance Framework Manual (GFM)
This describes the governance (control) framework within which the NCA’s objectives are delivered, risks are mitigated and standards of business conduct are adhered to. It brings together the key governance documents and describes in detail the structures, systems, processes and behaviors the NCA has for ensuring good governance.
It contains documents/policies which provide a comprehensive framework for the proper conduct of business. This is designed to ensure financial transactions are carried out in accordance with the law and government policy in order to achieve probity, accuracy, economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
