The policy establishes the framework for dealing with the press/media and using a variety of communication channels, including traditional and social media, which supports individuals and ensures that all staff have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and potential risk.
This policy is for all staff who work across the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) NHS Group, including our Care Organisations, hospitals and community services, and also those who do not work directly for the NCA, but provide care for its patients. All staff need to be aware.
