Salford Supported Internship Programme celebrates 10 years – Social Value in action; meet James from the Class of 2015

James was a Salford Supported intern in 2015 who had two work experience placements: in Receipt & Distribution and Portering. He has progressed onto a 21 hour per week contract as a porter and for the last 7 years many of you may have seen James delivering and collecting meal tanks.

Stephen was on the Salford Supported Internship programme in 2013/14. He had work experience in different departments including Portering where he progressed onto paid employment.

10 Years of Supported Internships at Salford | Luke's Story

Luke joined the Salford Supported internship programme in 2013, 9 years ago. He had work experience placements in Domestics and Receipt and Distribution (R&D). He went on to have a part time job in the R&D team in 2014 and now works there full time.
