The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group is governed by a Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors has overall responsibility for delivering services including our four Care Organisations and is accountable for operational performance as well as our strategic direction.
Each of our four Care Organisations is managed by a senior leadership team consisting of a Medical Director, Director of Nursing, Director of Operations, HR Director and Finance Director. One of these roles assumes the role of Chief Officer for each respective Care Organisation and is a member of the Group Executive Management Committee and attends the group’s monthly Board meetings.
Together they manage and are responsible for the day to day running of the hospitals and community healthcare services for their respective locality.
