Not only is he a medical registrar at Salford Royal, Dr Daniel Mills is a world aquatic champion who scooped four medals at the recent championships held in Doha with two of them being gold.
Dr Mills said: “I have done competitive swimming for most of my life and this is the first time I took part in a World Masters Championship. To become a double world champion and receive two gold medals is amazing with all my hard work paying off.”
Daniel trains up to five times a week and is currently getting ready for the British Championships that is being held in April.
