Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service - Oldham Community

We provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults who have developed communication or swallowing problems.

These may be caused by neurological conditions such as having a stroke, Parkinson's disease, brain injury, dementia, head and neck cancer or other illnesses.

The service is for adults registered with an Oldham GP. The service is provided in clinic, at home or in residential and nursing homes.

We work closely with other teams to provide a patient-centred service. We also provide training to other healthcare professionals, carers and care workers to improve patient care.
