All families are offered the Universal Core Programme, but sometimes additional support may be required in which case a targeted, personal support package will be developed in partnership with your family and your child. If your family Health Visitor identifies any additional needs that can be further supported by our Enhanced Health Visiting Team or our SEND Health Visiting Team, you may be offered a referral.

The Early Years app

The health visiting team undertake regular reviews and ASQ assessments of your child at key stages of their development. This helps to check they are developing as expected and to provide support for both the parent/carer or child should they need it.

The Early Years app has been developed to assist both parents/ carers and health visitors in completing these ASQ reviews and assessments.

Accessed through a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer, completing these online assessments efficiently and securely will help to provide us with the information needed, to talk to you about your child’s health and development.

This App also gives you access to your child’s developmental assessment results and provides further support and guidance to help your child’s development. Your Health Visitor will give you more information about this when they visit you.
