Integrated & Community Services - Wheelchair loans for school trips

Schools and parents can now request a wheelchair if a student/ pupil needs it only for longer distances on school trips.

This provision will be a temporary loan for an agreed timescale and all requests should be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance.

Schools/parents are responsible and expected to return the wheelchair after the agreed time.

Any mistreatment or loss of wheelchair would be chargeable to the party who raised the request for loaned chair.
