We bid a fond farewell and wish Joanna Fawcus good luck for her new role as chief operating officer at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Jo has been chief officer and director of operations at Bury Care Organisation since 2022, before more recently taking on the joint role of chief officer at both Bury and Salford Care Organisations.
During her time at the NCA, Jo has always had a clear focus on patient experience, quality and compassionate leadership.
She said: “The last three years of my career at the NCA have been amazing and I certainly feel very emotional to be leaving everyone I work with.
“It has been truly inspirational to work alongside the clinical and operational leaders across Bury and Salford and I am very proud of all the work the teams have led. There are strong foundations in place to build on and I wish all my colleagues the best for the future.”
Sheena McDonnell, NCA chair, said: “I would like to wish Jo every success as she takes on her new role and would like to thank her for the continued hard work and commitment in supporting patients, colleagues, and services.”
Jo will leave the NCA at the beginning of May.
