A shiny new pharmacy has opened at Rochdale Infirmary. Here we find out a little bit about the team.
A typical day in the department:
The team is based in the dispensary and out on the wards. They are busy throughout the day with outpatient prescriptions for urgent and same day emergency care, the eye clinic, and antenatal. Dispensing for rheumatology, the programmed investigation unit, and ophthalmology is also provided. They also provide support for Pennine Care patients at Birch Hill Hospital, and have ward-based colleagues, and satellite pharmacies for take home medicines.

The adaptable team works across Rochdale and Bury as well.
