NCA wins award for supporting line management

9 March 2022

The Northern Care Alliance has won The Greater Manchester Good Employment award category ‘Best for Supporting Line Management.’

The award recognises our ongoing commitment to support all our colleagues to fulfil their hopes and ambitions and reach their full potential.

Julia Marshall, Group Associate Director, Talent and Organisational Development, at the NCA, said:

“It’s fantastic to be recognised through this award for our High Performing Teams Framework, because there are some really good examples of how the tools are helping our leaders and teams in a real practical way to improve services.

“We are really excited about the next steps to launch a digital platform from April 2022 to support our line managers even more.”

At the NCA we are creating a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and collectively owned leadership, through our ‘Leadership by All; Development for All’ programme.

This includes our approach to High Performing Teams, involving teams in ensuring collective and aligned focus on service improvement to ensure our services are safe, reliable, and high quality.

We support all our line managers to bring to life our NCA mission: ‘Saving Lives; Improving Lives.’

The Greater Manchester Good Employment awards recognise excellent employment practice amongst Greater Manchester employers.

They are hosted by the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and this is the first time the awards have occurred.
