In March 2020 the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust admitted our first COVID-19 patient. Our gold command emergency structure was established, and so began our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Every member of staff has been affected by COVID-19 and played their own vital role in keeping our services running and helping to save lives and improve lives.
Almost two years later, and after our recent Staff Awards celebrating some of our fantastic teams and individuals’ achievements, we are now proud to publish our specially created Covid19 ebook detailing the stories behind our response to the pandemic, celebrating how each one of our #NCAFamily rose to the challenge of the biggest emergency in the history of the NHS.
