HMR Local Care Organisation (LCO) has been shortlisted for a prestigious national HSJ Award in the ‘Integrated Care Initiative of the Year’ award category.
The LCO has worked together innovatively to bring together health, social care, voluntary sector, housing and other community partners, to deliver improved health.
This has enabled systemwide learning events, bringing together partners from across the local system with patients and their carers to share learning from incidents, and improve care.
Sandra Croasdale, Associate Director of Integrated Systems Development, at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care (Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale), said:
“It’s great we have been shortlisted and recognised for our level of integration in Rochdale, we are really pleased, and I’d like to congratulate everyone involved.”
Steve Taylor, Chief Officer, Rochdale Care Organisation and HMR LCO, said:

The HSJ Awards are the most esteemed accolade of healthcare service excellence in the UK.
The awards ceremony takes place on 16 November 2023, at Evolution, in London.
