Dermatology - Salford Royal

The Dermatology Centre at the Northern Care Alliance offers a full range of dermatology services and is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

The Centre is involved in the development of dermatology services across Greater Manchester and our medical and nursing team provide general dermatology services as well as specialist outpatient and inpatient services. We care for approximately 13,000 new outpatients annually, with a further 26,000 follow up appointments. We aim to provide the highest achievable standards of care.

The centre is recognised as having one of the top dermatology clinical and basic research programmes in Europe and has strong academic links to Manchester University and The Christie. We are at the forefront of exciting, pioneering research in skin disease.

The dermatology unit offers comprehensive care for patients with skin disease including general dermatology clinics, skin cancer clinics, emergency clinics and specialist regional services/clinics listed below:

We also provide inpatient care for patients with severe skin disease.
