Floyd unit is an 18 bedded unit; the age group accepted is from 18 years onwards both male and female. We are a dedicated multidisciplinary team who offer care and therapy support to patients.
Our service provides and delivers a therapeutic rehabilitation plan to all patients by meeting individual needs, goals, and abilities, to enable them to lead as independent life as is possible.
Our service is available to residents who live in the Heywood, Rochdale and Middleton (HMR) Borough or are registered with a HMR GP.
Our service provides and delivers a therapeutic rehabilitation plan to all patients by meeting individual needs, goals, and abilities, to enable them to lead as independent life as is possible. Care is provided by Medical staff (Monday to Friday), qualified nursing staff, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech and Language Therapist, and Neuropsychologist.
The unit expects patients to dress in day clothes including footwear; patients should bring these and all toiletries needed. Personal items should be kept to a minimum to maintain infection control.
Patients may be expected to share a double room during their stay.
Referrals accepted from any qualified practitioner, who has care responsibility to the patient.
