The benefits of transferring to Rochdale Infirmary for ongoing treatment and recovery.
Why am I being transferred to Rochdale Infirmary?
If you’re a resident of Heywood, Middleton or Rochdale and you are currently receiving care at The Royal Oldham Hospital, Farfield General Hospital or Salford Royal Hospital you may be transferred to Rochdale Infirmary to continue your treatment and care - if it is clinically appropriate and safe to do so.
This transfer supports your treatment and recovery in a suitable environment and enables other patients to be cared for in our hospitals.
Rochdale Infirmary provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including acute medical inpatient care, a specialised dementia acute medical unit, an urgent treatment centre, a same day emergency care medical unit, theatres, an eye ward, a range of diagnostic facilities and a rehabilitation and discharge unit.
