Our Team
A Dietitian is a qualified Health Professional, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, who is trained to provide specialist advice regarding nutritional health promotion, and in the assessment and treatment of an individual’s clinical nutritional requirements and care.

We work closely with other services such as Children’s Community Nursing Team, Speech and Language Therapy Team and Community Paediatric Service to provide the best care for your child.
Service is available between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

The appointment will be at a local Primary Care Centre and will last for around 45 minutes. The Dietitian will confirm your referral and the main nutritional concerns and agree a clear care plan with you. The Dietitian will decide how quickly we need to see you again, or if your child can be discharged.
