The Broad Oak Suite
Situated away from the main hospital, the Broad Oak Suite is well worth a visit. The restaurant continues the tradition of serving fresh, homemade cooking and caters for vegetarians and those with a special diet. The large, beautifully decorated dining room offers a great space to relax and enjoy the food. If the weather is fine, you can eat outside on the patio dining area.
The Baguette Bar is very popular, with a large variety of fillings and breads, you can create a sandwich that is exactly how you want it. If you have to grab and go, then there is a great variety of salads and sandwiches freshly prepared and ready to eat.

- Monday to Friday - 8.15am to 3.30pm
- Saturday - 8.15am to 11.00am
- Breakfast served - 8.15am to 11.00am
- Lunch served - 12.00 noon to 2.00pm
Beverages, sandwiches and snacks are also available all day.
Birches Café
The Birches Café in located in the Outpatients department just off the main corridor. It is open Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm Saturday & Sunday 11am – 4.30pm.
It offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, including ground coffee. There's a selction of hot and cold food includig toasted sandwiches, pies, sandwiches & salads, cakes and confectionary.
Please note the café is currently closed, however there are plans for a reopening in 2026.
At the Main Entrance there is a vending area open 24/7, serving hot and cold beverages and snacks.
