In response to rising demand for the Covid-19 vaccine, Rochdale Care Organisation is calling all eligible people aged 18 and over to come and get their life saving jab next week.
The Rochdale Care Organisation, which runs Rochdale Infirmary and community services, is inviting people from Rochdale to come and get their first dose of Pfizer vaccine at one of a number of community drop in clinics at Rochdale Infirmary.
These clinics are for first vaccine doses only and no appointment is necessary, people can just drop in at any time while the clinic is open.
Extra vaccination clinics have been put in place across the borough of Rochdale to support the drive to increase vaccination take-up and stop the spread of the disease. The walk-in clinics will make getting a jab easier and more convenient, with clinicians on hand to answer questions and address any concerns people might have.
Those attending the Rochdale Infirmary drop in clinics must be eligible for their first vaccine, must not have already had their first vaccine or not already have an appointment booked in anywhere else.
If you are unsure if you are eligible then you are encouraged to attend the clinic and the staff will be able to advise.
If you want to get your vaccine at one of the drop in clinics, you must also be registered with a GP in the borough of Rochdale. Find a local health service.
Those attending the drop in clinics should bring their NHS number if possible, which can be found on the NHS website or a recent NHS letter. Find my NHS number.
The drop in clinics at Rochdale Infirmary are open on the following dates and times.
- Tuesday 15th June - 12:30 - 19:00
- Wednesday 16th June - 8:30 - 15:00
- Thursday 17th June - 10:30 - 19:00
- Friday 18th June - 8:30 - 13:00
Access to the walk in clinics is from the Rochdale Infirmary Outpatients Entrance on Quarry Street.
