Request for Elective Placements for non-medical pre-registration Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (AHP) students
If you are a current student on an NMC/HCPC approved programme based within the UK and looking for a placement experience, we do consider elective requests.
The NCA provides clinical learning experiences for a wide range of professional groups in both acute and community settings across the NCA footprint of Salford, Bury, Oldham and Rochdale.
We are not able to offer mental health, social work, health and social care or learning disability placements.
Furthermore, this application process is not for work experience or medical placement requests, please refer to other relevant NCA web pages for these opportunities.
The Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) team are responsible for processing the elective requests and if you are successful in gaining a placement we will support you and your educator.
