NCA celebrates Armed Forces Week 2025

25 June 2025

Showing support for the Armed Forces provides a much-valued morale boost for serving personnel, veterans and their families.

To celebrate Armed Forces Week, the NCA is holding flag-raising ceremonies at each of the NCA Care Organisations. Local veterans and reservists units are invited along with any colleagues wishing to attend the short ceremony if duties allow. Everyone is welcome.

There will be a speech of recognition delivered by each site's chief officer or representative followed by the parade being brought to attention with the Armed Forces flag raised to the accompaniment of NCA piper Richard France. The ceremony will conclude with the playing of the Last Post, followed by a two-minute silence, broken by Reveille and parade dismissal.
